Permanent jewelry, or welded jewelry, is simply chains without a clasp. Ann Elizabeth custom-fits a 14k gold, silver, or 14k gold-filled bracelet around your wrist (sometimes with a gemstone or charm attached) and welds the two ends together.

Please book separate appointments per person in your group.
How much do the bracelets cost?
14k gold bracelets start at $115
Silver & 14k gold-filled start at $46/$56
Wrist sizes vary as well as desired fit of bracelet.
Does permanent jewelry hurt?
Not at all, the welding process is painless and safe. We use a micro welder that uses an electrical current and no flame. There will be a small flash where the bracelet is welded together.

What if I need to remove my bracelet?
The bracelet can easily be removed by cutting the jump ring where it was welded. Ann Elizabeth Jewelry is also happy to remove the bracelet at any time for you.

Which metal choice is best for permanent jewelry?
Ann Elizabeth Jewelry recommends 14k gold due to it being a more durable metal. The 14k gold is more expensive but it will hold its beautiful color longer than silver and 14k gold-filled. Silver and 14k gold-filled will be offered with the understanding that both of these metals can show wear over time. Silver can tarnish and gold-filled can start to show the brass base.Will my bracelet last forever?
Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever. If your bracelet breaks at the weld, Ann Elizabeth Jewelry is happy to re-weld your chain for a fee of $10. Please note: Ann Elizabeth Jewelry is not liable for broken or lost chains. We guarantee the weld.
How should I clean my bracelet?
Use a small brush and light soap to clean your bracelets.
Will this give me problems going through the airport?
No, security will not ask you to remove your bracelet.
Can I purchase permanent jewelry for a gift?
Yes! Ann Elizabeth Jewelry offers beautiful gift cards.
